Our Commitment

Characters.io is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We are working to conform our site to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely recognized standard for web accessibility.

What We've Done

  • Added a "skip to content" link so keyboard users can bypass repeated navigation.
  • Reviewed color contrast, heading structure, and alt text on images across the site.
  • Built forms with visible labels and keyboard-accessible controls.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We regularly review our pages and booking flow and make improvements as we identify gaps. Some third-party embedded tools (such as our date picker and character search) are still being reviewed for full conformance.
